A New Look for Bye Bye Birdie

Since the 1960’s Bye Bye Birdie has been a powerhouse Broadway musical. Being showcased on Broadway, film and TV.  During that time, Bye Bye Birdie has sorted through many different looks and logos during its time and Fuzzy Duck is excited to be one of the design houses to contribute. Chanhassen Dinner Theaters came to Fuzzy Duck open minded about a new logo design for the musical.

After much research, Fuzzy Duck sketched multiple versions of what the logo could be.

Keeping the plot in mind, the end result of the Bye Bye Birdie logo is fun, flirty and has a retro feel. Wanting to create something fresh but keep the 60’s in mind was important. The black silhouette of the male and female is a teaser of what the musical is all about.
