MEET THE DUCKS: Aaron Speer

HTML expert, check. PHP and MySQL developer, check. Website troubleshooter extraordinaire, check. Who wouldn’t want to meet the multi talented Mr. Aaron Speer?

Aaron grew up with his parents, older brother and sister in Kalispell, Montana. Some of Aaron’s favorite memories growing up include spending time camping in the mountains of Montana with his family. Outside of his immediate family, Aaron has more than 40 cousins, which always kept things entertaining.

Aaron spent most of his youth dressing up like batman, building vehicles from spare lumber, and also played in Symphonic Band for most of his life. In order to diversify himself, Aaron was also briefly involved in an indoor Soccer League. 

At the age of 10 a friend showed him the basics of HTML and ever since then, he's been hooked. He began doing freelance Photoshop, and started building a solid portfolio. After some time he felt that he needed to share his work and he set out to create his own site.

Aaron attended Northwestern College and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Film and Television.

Aaron’s venture into Fuzzy Duck started with help of a friend. Casey Anderson, another Fuzzy Duck, posted a job listing for a Web Designer on Twitter. Not having too much professional experience, he decided to give it a shot. Once he was hired he found that he had a lot to learn but enjoyed the challenge in front of him. Since being at Fuzzy Duck, Aaron’s favorite thing about the office is the people that he is surrounded by everyday.

The future holds no bars for Aaron, as he is content in his life and taking things as they come. But he is keeping the option of becoming a mega rich and famous rock star in his back pocket for when the time comes.
